**Thanks to Hulafrog Frederick and The Little Gym of Frederick for hosting us last week in exchange for this post. All cute kid photos and opinions remain my own.** We had some serious fun at The Little Gym of Frederick this past weekend. It’s no wonder The Little Gym was named Best Gym Party by Parents Magazine. The Little Gym of Frederick created a magical ‘Princesses and Pirates’ birthday party experience for Adelyn and her friends. We had The Little Gym completely to ourselves as our qualified instructors lead the fun! The Gym was customized with adventures, activities, and games that coordinated with the princesses and pirates theme. The children were immersed in a wonderful world of make believe. And do you know what’s the icing on the cupcake about this whole event? Mom and Dad didn’t need to bring a single thing to the party…except for the birthday girl!
Disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated/compensated by PiYo, Beachbody, Shakeology, or any of the programs mentioned in this post. I simply want to share my honest exercise experience with my readers. Plus one person will win a giveaway from my coach to try it for themselves. The only exercise I’ve mentioned on this blog up until now has been yoga. I am very passionate about my yoga journey which began as super gentle as I healed from that whole mess of mine and has grown into a now (mostly) daily practice. For me, it is the perfect workout as my entire body benefits, as well as mind and spirit. I slowly felt stronger and more confident to try various styles of yoga, even aerial, and incorporated the occasional Pilates class. So when I heard about PiYo as a dynamic combination of Pilates and yoga…I had to try it and shake things up a bit! PiYo is a unique workout
Before I focused on this blogging adventure, I used essential oils and sought a diffuser necklace so that I could enjoy aromatherapy all day. I stumbled across an incredible store, Lowcountry Eclectic. There are various types of diffuser necklaces on the market, but I fell in love at first sight with these beautifully handmade (and priced) wooden pendants. So I browsed the designs and ordered the Three Arrows Diffuser Necklace in Silver, and BONUS: each necklace comes with a sample dram of essential oil! The owner so quickly and kindly responded to me after my order, which is when I first met Amanda. I really dig her, not only because we share a name, but also an affinity for crafting, essential oils and great quality materials. She runs Lowcountry Eclectic with her husband, Tommy (he leather-crafts the cases and cuffs they also sell), and their daughter Samantha whom handles marketing and social media. Actually
