25 Acts of Kindness Advent Bingo (Free Printable Cards)

When December arrives, the countdown to Christmas is on for many families.  Traditions like an advent calendar or Elf on the Shelf are some of the ways moms/dads/teachers/caretakers add to the magic of the season.  If you are looking for a fun alternative advent activity like I was, I hope you will find these Kindness Advent Bingo cards a perfect addition to your family’s traditions.

Without having the hassle and chore of moving an ever-watchful elf each night (if that excites your creativity though, by all means, enjoy!), and without encouraging children receiving gift after gift, or candy after candy…kids and families can celebrate each day of December by giving an act of kindness to others.

What I love about this idea of “bingo” is don’t HAVE to do a specific kindness task each day, but rather have an open-ended way we can help every day.  This means keeping the many ideas in the back of our mind and using great decision-making skills (and our hearts) to see which way of giving today brings.

So, with 25 squares, you could go for regular bingo (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal lines), or postage stamp, or I say…go for BLACKOUT!  Maybe you can squeeze them all in this holiday season…and if not, acts of kindness are perfect for any time of the year, so it’s never too late to claim your BINGO!  Do not worry if your family does not complete this idea…even if you only do one kind deed, that is awesome!

Did you start late? Not a problem either.  Could be fun to make up multiple days all at once!

Imagine celebrating on December 25th with a completed card knowing that you took the time everyday to intentionally help others.  Learning the joy of giving is an incredible gift for ourselves and our children!

Please download these printable cards for free, and enjoy.  The PDF is five pages, with different titles including MAGIC, SANTA, JESUS, BINGO, or KINDO.  Print whichever page works for your family, or each family member could have a different card.  The acts of kindness arrangement varies on every page, as well.
